This month I’m producing and starring in a ‘Wonders of the West End’ concert with Chalice Productions. We are really excited about it - we’ve got some wonderful singers, and a fabulous band. I will be singing excerpts from Phantom, Love Never Dies, and West Side Story, as well as some popular opera arias. There will also be songs from Cats, Chess, We Will Rock You, Miss Saigon, and Les Miserables. It promises to be a great night – look out for some footage from the show in the media gallery soon!

Our first review for BoXeD is in: onefilmfan.com/indie-film-review-boxed

'Hamlet delivers a solidly powerful performance'.

Beneath The Underground have also reviewed BoXeD. ‘Hamlet shows her keenness to excel further in her role by combining her characters vulnerability with sorrow, so beautifully, in her role as lost and desperate Rachel.’

Great News - The Con Game has won an Award of Excellence for Global Shorts, Los Angeles. The producers, Lumino Films, are also planning to make The Con Game into a web series, The Gypsy Con Trick, to begin production in January. Look out for further details next year!

Excitingly, I just found out that one of the films I acted in last year, BoXeD, will be coming to Amazon Instant Video on 11th November.

Romeo and Juliet cast at St George's Hall

Our July play in the St. George’s Hall Shakespeare Season was Romeo and Juliet – set in Prohibition era USA, so we had a lot of fun with it, as well as a lot of tears at the end! I especially enjoyed getting to sing in that beautiful concert room, as the singer in residence at the Capulet’s speak-easy.

Followed almost straight away by a run of The Lionheart Phantom at the Manchester Fringe Festival. It was lovely to play Wendy again, and spend more time with the brilliant people of Grande Dame Theatre company. And just in case I hadn’t had enough Shakespeare, a friend of mine invited me to participate in the Shakespeare 400 show at the Wirral Festival of Firsts: 3 monologues, 2 ‘secret scenes’, and plenty of audience participation made for a fun evening. I’m going to miss my Shakespeare! I’m taking some time off over the summer to recharge and spend time with my family, so check back in the autumn for more updates!
